How to measure for a dog snood...

We recommend measuring around your dogs skull at it's widest point (often this is just in front of the ears). Next, measure your dog's collar, for most breeds the head measurement will be the biggest measurement, however for some breeds the neck will be the larger of the two. It's best to check both and choose the largest measurement when ordering.

SMALL = up to 11 inches

Often breeds that fit this category are yorkies, mini dachshunds, italian greyhounds for example

MEDIUM = 12 - 18 inches

Breeds for this group often are dalmatians, spaniels, jack russells, french bulldogs, collies, to name a few

LARGE = 19 - 24 inches

Breeds such as ridgebacks, labradors, coonhounds, some bassett hounds...

XL = 25 inches +

Breeds with larger heads, often bulldogs/mastiffs measure in this group, or dogs with large coats such a bernese mountain dogs

Food Snoods

These are designed to fit more snug than our other snoods; to hold the ears and fluffy coat away from their feeding bowl. We recommend measuring around your dogs skull part way between the eyes and the ears - where the snood would sit. This is the measurement I will need.

Please specify in the box provided the breed and any additional comments on coat type as I can alter the design to allow for a thick coat.

Human Snoods

Where possible please measure an existing hat or measure around your head to get an idea of size.

The standard size I make for ladies is 22inches so please select a Large when ordering and state who it is for

Standard size for a man I make it 25 inches, which fits the XL category

Blankets

Available in 2 sizes: standard, which suits small-medium sized dogs, to give you an idea it fits the bottom of a medium crate.

This size is also perfect as a baby's play mat or pram blanket.

Large size is suitable for large breed dogs and also perfect for one adult human to snuggle under.
